I2 Art Award – 1st Edition

We are academic hackers – tough content, easy words.
We are a platform for digital experimentation
We advocate for new artists, whichever medium they work on
This award seeks artists proposal to respond and / or use culture and digital technologies.

ART. 1 – PURPOSE
I2 Curatorial Platform promotes the 1st edition  of the I2 Art Award that aims to promote and develop arts in digital format and for a digital platform.

The competition provides an allocation of 1 cash prize of  £500   to carry out an artistic project that can be made available in art-i2.com for free.

ART. 2 – JURY
The selection of works will be conducted by Isabel Sachs and Isabella Coraça.

ART. 3-  RULES
The I2 Art Award is open to all artists, without limits of age, sex, nationality or other qualification.
Artists can sign up until 30 January 2017.
The project must be produced and ready to be displayed on the website by November 2017.

ART. 4 – REGISTRATION

ART. 5 – SELECTION MODE
The results will be announced by April 2017 and also published on the website: art-i2.com

CONSENT
The jury’s decisions are unquestionable and irrevocable. The winning artists have the right to give up the prize without asking for any compensation in this case the prize will be reallocated in accordance with the classification made by juries.
Each artist gives the i2 platform, no other fees, the rights of reproduction, display, publication, translation and communication to the public in any way and without exception, the own works and texts involved the selection. The i2 platform, in full respect of the moral rights of the author, it will exercise such rights to all institutional communication activities related to the competition.
Participation in the contest implies knowledge and full acceptance of these Rules
